The American Law Institute Interviews ODSA Principal Anton Hajjar.
The ALI was established in 1923 to promote the clarification and simplification of American common
law and its adaptation to changing social needs. The ALI drafts, approves, and publishes Restatements of the Law,
Principles of the Law, model codes, and other proposals for law reform. Membership in the American Law Institute
is limited to 4000 judges, lawyers, and legal scholars selected based on factors such as professional achievement,
personal character, and demonstrated interest in improving the law.
Anton Hajjar has been a member of the ALI since 2002, and was elected to the ALI's Council in 2010.
